I'm fairly new to Spine but after a few days of messing around there's a key function I can't reproduce:

"Using shift with the Create tool is very efficient because you both draw a new bone and change the image parent at the same time."

I tried holding shift and pressing shift, pressing command lets you see the image under it but doesn't work either.
Now I have to manually drag each bone in the hierarchy to each image. Working with a lot of parts makes this very confusing.

I'm working on a Mac, OSX Yosemite, running the latest version of Spine: 3.3.05 Essential.
