animation bug - deformed image
Hi there,
I have a problem with my animation, there are times when "death animation" is played, the character became deformed. Also it moves weird and all over the place.
I tried remaking the animation once more, but to no avail. It is still happening and don't have any idea how to fix this.
P.S. this bug only happens on a certain animation, the rest of animations run smoothly.
Thanks
What editor version are you exporting from? What Spine runtime and version do you use? Can you send us a reproduction case so we can see the issue on our end (Spine project + export, contact@esotericsoftware.com if you don't want to share your assets here).
Thanks for your immediate response Badlogic!
I've already sent you a message with the spine data that you need(atlas+json+extracted png). But do you also need the unity project? It's a big file so I don't know if I can send it to you, it's around 500mb.
Btw, I'm using Spine 3.5.46 professional and Unity 5.5 for my runtime.
Thanks!
We'll check the skeleton for now.
First step is really to check if the exported files work as expected in : Skeleton Viewer
Then if it does, we'll check in Unity.
Then see if it's something about your setup and not the skeleton+runtime itself.
Thank you guys! I really appreciate your help. I will wait for the result.
I can't replicate the problem. I had a script play random animations from the list at random intervals and it never broke.
Just based on your screenshots though, it looks like your bones are being displaced and causing the weighted mesh to deform uncontrollably.
So there must be more to your setup/code which is controlling those bones' positions and that's probably what's going nuts.
Can you elaborate on what you're doing with your skeleton?
Hi Pharan,
Sorry for the very late reply. Been busy with some other things. Btw, thank you very much for giving some time checking the file. I believe you're correct with what's happening with our animation. It's the code that messing up with it and causes the bugs. So far we've adjusted the code and the bug didn't appeared since then. Appreciate your help!
P.S.
I noticed you're from Philippines too! Salamat kabayan!
