  • Keying slot color with separated alpha

  • Đã chỉnh sửa

Hey I have a slot that has its Alpha separated in the animation

I created 2 keys for alpha and color properties at 0 frame and 2 alpha and color keys on 10th frame

Now I set the timeline on 5 frame and change the alpha value in Slot Color view. Instead of keying just alpha Spine also have keyed slot's color property. Me dont like this 😃

I would like to see just an alpha key.

When I move the playhead on a frame greater than 10 and do the same operation spine will only create alpha key. Me want this, Me want now 🥹

warmanw Thank you for your report, but for some reason I could not reproduce that issue on my end. Here are the results when I tried it on my end:

Is there anything different from the steps you took?

Select multiple slots with same settings and do the same

warmanw Thank you for the additional information. However, I still cannot reproduce the problem. The results of my test are as follows:

I separated the alpha of the goggles slot from the head slot and changed the alpha in the Slot Color view with both slots selected, but I was able to set the key without affecting the RGB timeline. Just to be sure, I stopped separating the alpha of the head slot and changed the alpha again with both the goggles and head slots selected, but it still did not add any key to the separated RGB timeline.
Are there any other conditions required to reproduce this problem?

Here is the video, and yes I could not reproduce in a fresh new project

warmanw Thank you for showing the video! I tried a more complex combination based on that video, but I still couldn't reproduce the problem. Could you send us a Spine project via email that can reproduce the problem?: contact@esotericsoftware.com
The behavior in the video you showed us is indeed strange, and I would like to properly identify the cause of that problem.

this there are colored slots select multiple and see, all those slots are also saved under 4 key on keyboard

I noticed that there are some slots within that selection that work properly

warmanw Thank you for providing the Spine project file! It seems that the problem only occurs when the RGB key values change before and after. It also seems that the number of frames doesn't matter: if the RGB key value changes before and after, the RGB key is added in the same way, even if there are more than 10 frames in between:

The video above reproduced the problem with multiple slots selected, but in some cases the problem can actually be reproduced with a single slot selected.

When I saw this behaviour, I thought for a moment that perhaps the RGB keys were being saved deliberately, but when I deleted the recorded RGB keys, there was no change at all in the RGB value of that slot, so I am sure that they are unnecessary keys. I have created an issue ticket to fix this: EsotericSoftware/spine-editor850
Thank you for helping us to find the cause!
