Feature Request: Loop Start/End range addition
It would be cool if there was an option to allow the Loop Start/End Rage to adjust automatically as you switch animations within the same character.
Right now it stays the same regardless of which animation you pick from the list. Therefore forcing your to remember where each of your separate cycles are housed.
Hey Justifun!
The animations should loop automatically from frame one to the end of the particular animation.
Without having to set a start and stop loop frames.
Or do you have all your animations in one timeline?
All of my animations for a particular character are separated into separate "animations" on the right hand side where pick the images etc.
If you goto your idle and turn on Loop start (30) and Loop End (90) lets say, it will highlight frames 30 through 90,
but if you then switch to a new animation eg: punch, it will still highlight the range 30 to 90, and not the range of the punch that you last left highlighted eg: 1-10
it would be great if spine stored the highlighted loop range for each individual animation.
Ah I get cha! I just turn it off though.
It seems to loop the individual animations automatically. Unless youve got some outlying keys past the point you want to loop.
Although i did have a bit of trouble with this in previous versions of spine. But it seems to have gone now.
Does your version have a mysterious auto key on it now?
Yes my version does have the new auto key feature! Im so happy that they were able to add it. It will speed up animating dramatically! Thanks esoteric!
Yes! Nate and Soren must be applauded for their efforts!
But does the button work?!
Mine seems to sit there in un-functional silence mocking me and the 'K' shortcut key.
Does your autokey button work? Is there something I don't know that I should be doing?
awe it does nothing
must just be a place holder for now. Maybe we'll wake up to a new version tomorrow and all will be well!
This is just like Christmas!
I wonder if Nate would mind wearing a Santa suit?
Sorry about the auto key button, it'll do something someday.
For the looping, I think the real issue is that you should have each animation looping from zero to the last frame. However, I created a Trello card so we can think about this.
