hwadock! Glad you upgraded to 4.0, can't wait to see what you can do!
The tree properties only show for what is selected in the tree. When you select an animation in the animations view, it no longer selects the animation in the tree. This is to reduce scrolling the tree away from your bones, slots, etc.
If you right click an animation in the animations view, it will select the animation in the tree.
If the current animation is selected in the tree and you click a different animation in the animations view, the tree will select that clicked animation.
