Gloomhaven Helper Questions

Few questions regarding Gloomhaven Helper:

1.) Will you be supporting the expansion Forgotten Circles and is there an estimated release date?

2.) When using the "wound" feature I'm noticing it shows that damage is being assessed but it doesn't actually reduce the health by 1. Is that intentional or is there a way to add prompts to reduce?

3.) Is there a way to get Conditions (poison, disarmed, etc.) to auto remove?

It should be noted that I use the PC version of the software.

Thanks again for making this app it is a HUGE time saver!

I have the same burning question about support for the Diviner class. Otherwise, we think the app is perfect!

1) We will, but don't have an ETA, sorry! We are waiting on Cephalofair for some assets.

2) The wound icon is shown as a reminder. The app doesn't handle adjusting the HP because there are scenarios where the app could do it wrong. Better to not do it at all than to be wrong sometimes.

It seems like an app built by people who actually KNOW how it's going to be used (which doesn't seem the case elsewhere), i.e. people who actually play the game. I'm sure THEY will want to be able to use the new class as well! 😃

The funny thing is, I played only the first two scenarios (5 games total: lost due to wrong setup, won, lost, then started over with a different group and won, won). After that I had lots of ideas on how an app could be designed, wrote the app, then never played it again. :wounded: I'd like to play but it's hard to find time for a multi-hour board game, especially because it involves first finding others willing to put in that kind of time, and then finding a schedule that works for everyone.

Check out the steam gloomhaven digital release in the 17th. Looks really good even if it’s only in alpha and without multiplayer at this point.

I have mixed feelings about it. Gloomhaven is a board game with a lot of similarities to a video game. I'm not sure it's a great idea to base a video game off a board game based off video games. At that point you might as well build a video game from scratch, without basing it off a board game, because with a video game you have a lot more freedom. It's happening though, so we'll see how it goes!

I realize this is an old topic, but I was wondering if I missed the Diviner ability on monster attack modifiers in the app. Or did I misread the rules?

It's there! With Diviner in your party (or no players in your party), click the monster attack modifier deck.
