As the tile said I found it tiresome when you have to make a mesh for a long chain or machine tentacle.
Can we have some thing like Tileable Mesh which using one single image to make the whole thing like this?? It help the loading time since the origina image is small instead of the whole long textures and save the time to creat a long mesh too:

This would be a great feature, though probably for region attachment rather than mesh attachment, as it would be easier to control. Depending on the runtime implementation, there are implications for texture packing. Eg, to wrap UVs the image needs to be at the edge of the texture (atlas page) in the directions that it tiles. Other implementations could be more flexible, but a little more complex.

We're currently focusing on some big features, so I'm afraid we won't be able to get to this any time soon. We'll put it in the enhancements backlog though!
