Hi there,
This may well be a show stopper for my project if it can't be fixed... 😐
I was adjusting the scale of an arm (F_Arm) of one of my models, in a specific animation... and something weird happened: X value was at 1.19, while Y value was at 1.08 (the value I changed it to before). So I pressed Ctrl+Z... and then the whole arm disappeared (both values at 0.0 now).
I wasn't very worried, being an animation, but when I returned to Setup Mode I discovered that the effect persisted, which is VERY weird. But what's worse is that I couldn't change to 1.0 both scale values. When I start to write a number in there, it writes another one for me! So 1 becomes 11, 2 becomes 22, and so on.
I've restarted the whole computer and it stays the same. The issue is now with the project because I've even exported and imported a JSON file and it's the same with the "new" skeleton.
This arm has some IK and path constraints configured. But if I delete them (just in case) I still have the problem.
I will lose a whole week's work if I don't recover the previous state. I'm sending you the project file by email. Please, if you could take a look at this I'd be very grateful, as we were supposed to launch a demo in some days and I still needed to configure some models. 🙁
Thank you.
Edit: OK, I didn't lose more than an hour of work. I remembered the auto-backups and recovered the last good one.
Anyway, this happened out of the blue and could happen again. Could you take a look into that, please? Surely duplicating keystrokes is weird as hell. :-P
Edit2: I've been troubleshooting this and it seems that the fact that F_Arm and F_Forearm have a path and IK constraint (in that order) could be the cause of this problem. As soon as I've put the path constraint under the IK, I was able to change the scale values to 1.0.
But when I've changed the order of constraints, both Frisk1 and Frisk2 animations didn't work properly... Is this expected behavior?
Edit3: (I'm starting to get annoyed) I've applied the same solution as before (changing the constraints order) for the most recent file I had... and it didn't work.
Something's not working well here. This is just too weird.
